The Power of Play
When asked what people remember most from elementary school, the majority of adults will answer "recess", "playing in the schoolyard", or something to that effect. Not only is this what they remember most (and most fondly), but arguably where they learned the most as well. Research shows that people learn best and with the highest rates of retention when they are moving around, interacting with others, solving problems, and having a good time. Translation: people learn best when they are playing. And it turns out that this is just as true for adults as it is for children.
Not only do we learn best under these circumstances, but we forge connections with each other through these shared experiences in which we let our guards down and see each other from unique perspectives. These connections almost inevitably go to a deeper level than we achieve by sticking to the traditional roles and tasks that are expected of us as adults.
We believe in the power of play, and know that there is a gap to fill... people just don't get enough of it.
So how do we play? We combine unique and engaging play with expertly guided reflection to maximize the learning potential. We invite you to play with us!
Our Values
We value a lot of things, but at the core, it all comes down to two things: Enjoyment and Learning.

A while back, when we were pondering the meaning of life (you know that moment when you're staring up at the stars and you start to have an existential crisis when you're reminded of how small we are), it occurred to us that we weren't smart enough to figure out what literally nobody had figured out before. So, we gave up. Sort of. We decided that if we couldn't figure out the real meaning of life and try to achieve it, we would at least appreciate the life we had and enjoy it. And while we were at it, we'd try to learn as much as possible so that we could answer all the other questions in life that we were curious about... it turns out the learning has been pretty enjoyable too.

These values are interwoven, and pervade the work we do. We teach our clients so they can learn, and we learn along with them. We proactively provide opportunities for our employees to learn and grow, so they can enjoy themselves and teach our clients new things. Our clients enjoy our engagements not only because they're a ton of fun, but because they learn about themselves, one another, their teams as a whole, and go back to work with stronger connections and more effective teams that allow them to learn even more together and create even more joy.
